Guyana is the only French department located on the South American continent. Of a surface of 90 000 km2 (1/6 of the metropolitan territory), it is populated with 157 200 inhabitants. The major part of the territory is covered by the Amazonian forest. Surinam on the West and Bresil in the East and in the South, are its border countries.Situated on the Equator, Guyana enjoys a wet climate characterized by rainy season from december till june with an interruption at about march (" small summer of march ") and a dry season from july till november.The temperature oscillates all year long around 28°C.

TREK AMAZONIA release 2009

2 formulae will be presented to you:

 Trail of non-stop 75 km
 Trail of 168 km in 5 stages of 20 to 30 km/day

These treks will take place from march 8th till march 14th, 2009 and from march 14th till march 22nd 2009
